Tom Termini
Tom Termini is a native of Washington, D.C. He graduated in 1986 with a BA from the University of Maryland in College Park, and earned an MBA in 1993 at Loyola College, Baltimore. In the 1980s, he developed innovative technologies in the areas of multimedia application design, database integration, and expert systems. After a brief government career with the Federal Reserve, he founded the new media firm Enigma Concepts Inc. Since 1990, Tom has been a developer and solutions architect, working with the World Bank, U.S. Government agencies, VW of America, Lockheed-Martin, Allied Irish Banks, and other leaders in the business community. Mr. Termini co-authored Professional WebObjects 5.0 with Java. In 1998, Tom was a co-founder and managing director of Bluedog Inc. (US) / Bluedog Ltd. (EU). The company provides solution designs for Service-Oriented Architectures using Java and Apple’s WebObjects. He led the company’s launch in 2007 of its innovative and highly acclaimed earned-value management/balanced scorecard project and team automation tool, Workbench, which is delivered as a Web-based software-as-a-service. Bluedog’s offices are located in suburban Washington, D.C. and Dublin, Ireland, and the company can be found on the Web at www.bluedog.net. Mountain biking, Australian cattle dogs, Opels/VWs/Porsches are his main hobbies.
